I went with Mel to help her nail down her kitchen and bath stuff for her new house. She and I have very similar styles and it is kinda funny how I picked something and she would say, oh ya that is on my list! :). So we seemed to have nailed down the kitchen - dark wood cabinets, lighter granite counter top, and neutral floor. The tile will also be used in the foyer and the powder room. In the one picture the hardwood is there as well. SO NICE. the flooring for the kitchen looks very white, but it isn't in real life. The flash bleaches it out.
Then we got the main bath. She is going with a coconut cabinet, light floor, dark counter and subway tile (white) for the tub surround. Now the big decision is -formica counter or granite in the bath. I like both!
